Description
The specimen is an ovary enlarged and replaced by tumour; the cut surface shows areas of
haemorrhage and of cystic degeneration. It shows a number of yellow areas as well. The
microscopy of the lesion is that of an ovarian arrhenoblastoma.
History
This is a very old specimen; no history is available so we do not know whether or not
this tumour was responsible for masculinisation of the patient.
